Who Built Submind
Hi, I'm Prashant. I built Submind because I was tired of losing ideas. I'd be stuck in traffic or walking my dog when a thought would hit me: a solution to a problem I'd been wrestling with, a creative direction for a project, or just something I needed to remember. By the time I got to my laptop, the thought was gone.
Voice notes apps existed, but they all felt like data harvesting operations first and tools second. I wanted something private by default, with AI that actually understood context, not just transcribed words. So I started building Submind on March 8, 2024 from India, and I've been working on it ever since.
